Before Use

Thank you for purchasing our Wazakura Hand Planer. Please read this user guide before use.

How to Maintain

① Clean dirt or any moisture after each use.

② Wipe it dry with clean rag, and then oil to protect the metal from corrosion regularly.

③Make sure to properly maintain the blades after each use.

How to Use

In order to set the Kanna plane, you will need a hammer.

1) By hitting the back part of the wood body, it is possible to loose and retract the blade and chip breaker.

2) Then aligned and use the same hammer to hit the pack of the blades in order to put it back.

3)Repeat these procedures while watching how the blade pokes outside the base of the Kanna. Set it so the blade only stands out for about 0.08mm from the base.

4)You can hit the blade sides to make it right in case it goes more towards the sides.

お手入れ・保管方法

①使用後は、刃・柄についた水分や汚れを布でよく拭き取ります。

②錆を防ぐために、よく乾燥させた後、定期的に刃物油を刃部全体に塗ってください。
